The Safe4Life Ceramic/ Composite - NIJ IV is the flagship in terms of protection level of the Safe4Life insert offerings. It offers protection against hard-core ammunition, such as the .30 caliber M2 AP. The insert consists of a special ballistic ceramic to break the bullet's hard core and a high-performance fiber composite to capture the fragments. It is available wrapped in Nylon (Cordura). Anna and Vera are the suitable carrier systems.
